Field Trips

A visit to the Lake Superior Zoo will inspire student learning and add “life” to your curriculum! Enhance your field trip experience with a hands-on education program. Zoo programs support Minnesota and Wisconsin State Science Standards and include live animals and interactive activities. Details can be found in our 2019 Teacher Newsletter or scroll down this page to read about our program offerings.

Please note that the zoo is closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from November 1 – March 31. Our Earth Tracks event (specially designed for groups) will be held Friday, May 17, 2019 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Groups receive a discount on general admission if they make a Group Reservation in advance. Please make a Group Reservation at least one week before your field trip by clicking on the orange button below. To include an educational program with your field trip, list your program choice on the Group Reservation form. Contact Jessamy Schwartz via email or at (218) 730-4500 ext. 205 with any questions.

Once you’ve made a field trip reservation, please use our Field Trip Guide to plan a successful trip and answer questions you may have prior to your visit.
